What's in store for 2008?

News >>

First of all a very happy new year to all of you. I hope 2008 will bring you all the love, luck and health you can handle (or something like that anyway).

I myself have a lot of plans for the coming year. Let me spill the beans a little bit and tell you what's in store for 2008.

First of all, the mini-album that I've recorded over the last year will be free to download on my site. Yes, that's right, I said FREE! So you will get 6 full songs and you can even download the booklet, again this will be totally FREE!! The songs are "The Spider and the Chicken", "Be Nice to Mr. Hill", "Drawcansir", "Mascara Tears", "Cyberotic Acrobat" and "ConFusion" (the F is supposed to be a capitol). This album should be available someweher around February, March, just keep checking this site for further announcements.

And then 2008 will be the year of the WS-Guitar that masterbuilder Patrick Koopman (also working for Steve Vai) is currently designing. It will be build according to my own specifications and should be ready to hit the streets somewhere around this summer. Of course you will find details on my site on how to get your own WS-Guitar should you desire one. Let me tell you this, it's gonna be the ultimate shredaxe out there, believe me, you won't be dissapointed.

And last but not least some free instructional video's will be placed on youtube. The first installments will deal with my rather unorthodox way of tapping and sweeping. If there's anything else you would like to see me do an instructional video about, drop me a line ( and I'll see what I can do.

Okay, so now you see that my agenda for the coming year is full enough as it is. But that doesn't stop me from recording a demo for a rather wellknown record label. It's still all a bit hush hush for the moment, but if you've read the other items on this newspage you'll be able to figure out for which label (or should I say who's label?) Anyway, I'll keep you posted on that as well.

For now, have a great 2008 (that sorta rhymes doesn't it?) and keep checking this site for details on the stuff mentioned above.
